Synapse modules with built-in light and occupancy sensor. Small, tidy, and battery powered.

Description [Hide]

We got these little units in from Synapse because they look so darn cool. These all-in-one modules detect ambient lighting conditions and movement (PIR sensor).

By nature, they require a SNAP Cloud Appliance gateway, and access to a registered SNAP Lighting Cloud service. If you have neither of these, they stock module may not be for you. That said, these look ripe for hacking!

When operating, the system will operate as a part of a SNAP wireless mesh network.  This network allows the sensor to transmit signals to other sensors within the network or to a system base unit. The device is battery powered, and the battery voltage is monitored internally.
