Temperature sensor with a range of -30C to +80C with a typical error of 0.75C in the 0C to 80C range.

Description [Hide]

Features:

  • Measures ambient temperatures from -30°C to +80°C
  • Typical error: ±0.5°C
  • The sensor is Ratiometric.

Note: The temperature sensor component is rated at -50°C to +150°C, but the other components on the board, the connector and the cable are rated at -30°C to +80°C. In a fast prototyping environment the temperature sensor board can be pushed to the ratings of the sensor component, but you should use the lower temperature ratings if you plan to use the 33440 in a commercial application.

If you need to measure temperatures outside the -30 to +80C range, you should use a PhidgetTemperatureSensor Thermocouple 1-Input with the appropriate temperature probe.

Comes with a 60cm sensor cable.

This sensor requires connection to an Analog Input on a Phidget Interface board, like the 8/8/8.

Specifications:
Current Consumption - 1mA
Minimum Measurable Temperature - -30°C
Maximum Measurable Temperature - +80°C
Voltage Output Range at Nominal 5V Supply - 0.25VDC to 4.75VDC
Device Supply Operating Range - 4.0VDC to 6.5VDC
Typical Error @ 25°C - ±0.5°C T
ypical Error over 0°C to 80°C - ±0.8°C
Maximum Error over 0°C to 80°C - ±2°C
