Needing to drive more power in your prop or display that the DC power adapter can handle? Up the power safely with the RC-4 Relay control board.

This board lets you mount up to four solid-state relays (SSR), specifically the popular Crydom D2W203F series, which can switch 3-4A up to 240VAC (but do stay at 120V for safety!)

The RC-4 board features:

  • LED indicators for "hot" loads
  • Screw terminals suitable for upt to #14 gauge wire
  • 3-pin command line interface
  • Draws power from the host controller - no additional DC wiring required
  • Communicates with host controller via serial protocol (2400/38.4k Baud selectable)
  • Chainable with up to 4 RC-4 controllers

The RC-4 boards offers the following command vocabulary:

  • V - Get RC-4 version number
  • R - Set/Reset Individual Relay
  • S - Setup all relays (sets activation level of all relays)
  • X - Clear all Relays (deactivates all 4 relays)
  • G - Get Relay Status (Reports back to microcontroller the on/off status of all 4 relays)

Remember, although the DC-16 is designed for use with the Prop-1 or Prop-2, the simple serial command syntax can be easily used with practically any other microcontroller!
