The original BASIC Stamp 1 Module is still a practical and versatile microcontroller for all kinds of embedded projects.
The original BASIC Stamp! It's amazing what you can accomplish with this well-proven microcontroller. The processor runs at 4MHz which helps make the module very efficient in terms of current draw and source/sink. The program execution speed is ~2,000 instructions/second and the RAM size is 16 bytes (2 I/O, 14 variable).
