The 3 'AA' battery holder is a convenient way to mount 3 'AA' cells in series. It's made from durable plastic and features a standard 9 Volt battery snap Retaining clips to help secure the batteries into the holder. 2 countersunk mounting holes are provided. 3 AA Alkaline cells will provide 4.5 Volts DC, while NiCad and NiMH rechargeable cells will provide 3.6 VDC

This item is commonly used with the PICAXE microcontroller product line.
