Gordon McComb keeps churning out useful books, this time adapting his Robot Bonanza to use the Arduino.

Description [Hide]

Gordon McComb's books have been nurturing the robotics hobby for a very long while, and we're happy to say that he's keeping them up-to-date with new technology. This is such a book - interesting robotics projects using the Arduino platform.

It contains a nice introduction to Arduino and how to use it. It then dives into building a "Teachbot" platform for the basics, then progresses onto more advanced designs.

The content is updated, with good diagrams, but the book could benefit from a color edition. That said, Gordon's book offers excellent content, well worth the minor inconvenience of greyscale images.

Coverage includes:
