If you are as much of a fan of the Solarbotics mini metal gearboxes as we are, you’ll be pleased to know we’ve just brought in a nice complement to the family – the GM20!

The performance of the GM20 makes it fit between the GM11a and GM12a, but more notably, it has a sealed gearbox. No more cat whiskers getting caught in the gearwork! No more cleaning out dust bunnies and re-lubricating with exotic muskox oil! And it makes the gearbox even more resistant to side-loads.

These also have a beefier set of mounting holes, threaded for 2-M1.6 metric screws. Yes, it can a pain to find metric screws (sorry).
